This is mainly a seasonal project where massive parties are held underneath the railway arches near Piccadilly station, after trying various locations it returns to its spiritual home at Store street. The usual season for the existence of this phenomena is September through to the New year. Though it is also popular with WHP off season events that occur often from January to May. These events often feature established artists and quickly get sold out. The best place to go for a calendar of events is the website and choose who you want to dance the night away to.
During the Main season
Starting in September there are set times for various DJ’s to perform in the three different rooms. From six in the evening till five in the morning on a Thursday, Friday and Saturday you can have up to six different people working their magic on the decks. This is thought of as the Ibiza scene in the UK with state of the art lighting and sound systems. The roster of DJ’s keep it fresh as does the fact it is a seasonal event and not on in that form all year round, though they do hold some out of season WHP events , usually with live bands. However, the Warehouse project in its pure form is usually September to January. When IBIZA ends the fun begins in Manchester, just in time for the student population returning. This is a Mega club venue and attracts people from all over as there is nothing else quite like it. Look out for special events even during the season such as a Halloween special.
