San Carlo Fumo Restaurant Manchester

12 Aug , 2019

This is part of the successful San Carlo family chain that has been successful in other major cities such as Birmingham. This is a luxury dining brand that does not come cheap, but at the rate it is thriving that does not seem to put anyone off. The swanky interior sets the tone as it oozes class and sophistication, new clients just hope the food is half as good as the presentation of the dining area and the rest of the plush interior. It is a new 5,500 square foot dining experience with the space roughly half inside and half being the terrace. The concept is that it’s  a late lounge for fine dining cocktails and champagne as well as other beverages, such as artisan beers and Prosecco. Even the bar is taken seriously as it is headed up by the son of one of the owners.

Superb choice of quality dishes

The cuisine in the other of the family restaurants that have been going for a long time are all critically acclaimed, so there is no reason to suspect the this venture is not going to reach the same superlative standards. Obviously being an Italian orientated restaurant pasta and pizza feature on the menu, but the range of delicious dishes goes way beyond that with specialty sea food dishes marinaded meats all served with seasonal salads. Another specialty is expertly crafted small plate Italian and Mediterranean dishes. Weather permitting you can choose the alfresco experience on the extensive outside terrace. The establishment is open every day from the morning to late, even later on Friday and Saturday. The service starts with breakfast with lunch and dinner following on. This restaurant gives you a chance to rub shoulders with the famous as it is frequented by celebrities from sport and showbiz.
