Trafford Centre a Modern Sopping Concept.

21 Jan , 2020

The Trafford centre was years in the planning and at one point it was touch and go whether it would get built. There were huge concerns about road congestion and the effect it would have on local smaller town centres.  It was eventually given planning permission at the highest court in the land, The House of Lords. It is worth a visit just to marvel over the lavish unorthodox architecture as it centre is built in a Rococo or late Baroque style. The complex has four main and differently featured areas on two floors, each area having a different theme. The areas pay tribute to the history of the Northwest, for example the Orient food and entertainment sector is themed around a steam ship denoting the influence of the Industrial revolution and Manchester ship canal.   Throughout the centre there are sculptures and water features adding interest besides the many diverse retail outlets and world cuisine restaurants.

The amazing selection of stores at the Trafford centre

It really is retail therapy at its best, the women in your life will love it. If you are a single gent choosing to be accompanied by an elite Manchester escort then she will fully appreciate the experience  too.   The place is designer heaven as many of the big labels are represented and the ones that do not have their own boutique will no doubt have a franchise in department stores such as Selfridges, Debenhams or House of Fraser. The centre also has all the chain favourites such as Next and Top shop. There is much more here than clothes and accessories with virtually every category in the retail sector covered from confectionery to  perfume.

This can be a full day excursion or just a leisure destination

As well as the shops there is an extensive choice of restaurants and the busiest cinema complex in the country. Indeed some people. mainly locals just come for the entertainment facilities in the complex, have something to eat, drink and see a movie, maybe pop into a shop or two they fancy as well.
